So now the cottages are up and running I have manages to find and happily recommend some great walks through the Northamptonshire countryside. Ranging from a leisurely stroll to the nearest village and public house to a more breathtaking 6 mile walk up to Honeyhill - the highest point in Northants from where you can see 5 counties on a clear day.
I have recently found 2 walks that take in the nearby canal network - both are easy walking as you meander through lazy fields and meadows seeing the area from a different perspective. Both walks drop on to the Jurassic Way for a time before looping back to White House Farm.
Lots of wildlife to be seen and great photographic opportunities - something for everyone when you visit WHF
